Indiana delayed the Iowa game numerous hours prior to the arranged tipoff Feb. 18 after the 8-foot long, 14-inch broad, 50-pound metal plate dropped and ruined some vacant seats in the northwest corner of the age-old field. An inspection of the roofing and ceiling located even more places where melting snow and ice had loosened steel plates.
