The Brew Crew logged ten hits with Jonathan Lucroy smacking a two run homer while Scooter Gennett and Khris Davis went solo. The Cleveland Indians are still within reach of .500 if they can remain consistent. The Indians let one get away in a 2-1 defeat at Wrigley Field on Monday afternoon. Starter Corey Kluber was at his best with a run allowed on four hits through 7.2 inning while striking out eleven. Zach McAllister took the loss in the bottom of the 9th when Kris Bryant slammed a walk off bomb. The offense never got going against Jon Lester with six hits and a base on balls that produced a Carlos Santana RBI single that scored pinch runner Abraham Almonte. Josh Tomlin gets his third start of the season and first ever against the Brewers on Tuesday. Tomlin was outstanding in a 3-2 win at the Yankees with one run scored on two hits over seven innings.
