Last Friday Estrada was terrific in a win over the Baltimore Orioles , he was six outs away from a no-hitter and allowed one run and one hit with four walks over seven innings. It was the third time in his career that he allowed one hit in a start that he didn't leave because of an injury and his first since Aug. 25, 2013, against the Reds.

This will be Estrada's first start against the Rays, but he has faced them four times out of the bullpen and has pitched to a 1.13 ERA without recording a decision.
Tampa will oppose him with righty Nathan Karns, who is 4-3 with a 3.53 ERA. Karns picked up his first win in more than a month on Friday in Cleveland, as he held the Tribe to a run and six hits in 5 1/3 innings. Karns beat Toronto the only other time he faced them.

Tampa has won seven of its nine matchups with the Jays this season.
