The first Formula One action of 2016

Formula OneFormula 1 has fired into action for the first time in 2016 as Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren helped Pirelli complete the first of a two-day wet tyre test at the Circuit Paul Ricard venue.

Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren are present at the test in the south of France, which will see the cars run on an artificially soaked track over the first two days of this week. The teams are not allowed to test new parts and must stick by Pirelli's run plan in order to evaluate prototypes of its wet weather tyres.
