Price will try to keep Detroit in the win column tonight, as Yoenis Cespedes homered among his three hits and knocked in three runs to help the Tigers to an 8-5 victory in Monday's opener.

Victor Martinez had a two-run single for Detroit, while Miguel Cabrera went 2- for-3 with two walks and one RBI.

The Tigers have taken eight of 10 meetings between the teams this season, with Cabrera batting .649 (24-for-37) with 16 RBI. He has also reached base safely in his last 27 games at Progressive Field.

Pinch-hitter David Murphy and Roberto Perez belted solo home runs in the last two innings for the Indians, who have lost three of four.

Heading to the hill for the Tribe tonight will be righty Danny Salazar, who is 6-2 with a 3.56 ERA. Salazar did not get a decision on Thursday against the Chicago Cubs, as he allowed three runs (2 earned) and six hits in 4 2/3 innings of a 4-3 win.

Salazar was on the wrong end of Price's gem back on June 12 and is 2-2 in seven starts versus the Tigers with a 3.06 ERA in seven starts.

The Indians (32-37) continue to play poorly at home and in the AL Central. They are 14-22 at Progressive Field and 13-21 in the Central.

The Tigers (36-34), with just their fifth win in the last 11 games, have the Indians to thank for still having a winning record. They're in third place in the Central, but have the best record in division play at 23-12.
