The Line: Minnesota Timberwolves -5.5 -- Over/Under: 204

The Minnesota Timberwolves are back home to take on the Denver Nuggets tonight in downtown Minneapolis.

Beating the Minnesota Timberwolves for the second time in five days would match Denver's longest win streak of the season and continue its recent turnaround.

The Nuggets go for another big offensive showing Tuesday night while trying to make things easier on themselves against the struggling Timberwolves.

Denver beat Houston last night in Colorado, 114-108. Will Barton posted 23 points and nine rebounds off the bench to pace the Nuggets. Gary Harris had 21 points, while Joffrey Lauvergne added 14 points and 11 boards for Denver, which has won four of five since an eight-game losing streak. Minnesota sits at 9-14 following Sunday's loss in Phoenix. Tonight's game tips off at 7:00 inside Target Center.

The Timberwolves have won just one of their last seven games and will be looking to avoid a third straight loss after falling to the Suns in a 108-101 defeat on Sunday. Zach LaVine led the team in scoring with 28 points in just 26 minutes off the bench, Kevin Martin added 19 points while Andrew Wiggins had 13 points but the Wolves simply shot themselves in the foot with 25 turnovers which led to 43 points for the Suns. Minnesota have really been struggling on defense lately, allowing an average of 112 points in their last five games and their only win was by one point over the lowly Lakers. Minnesota is now just 9-14 on the season and 6-5 on the road.

the Nuggets have won four of their last five and could make it three straight wins after beating the Rockets by 114-108 last night. Will Barton led the scoring with 23 points, Gary Harris added 21 points while Danilo Gallinari had 15 as the Nuggets shot a healthy 51 percent from the field. The Nuggets outscored the Rockets 62-36 in the paint and won the rebounding battle by 52-26 so if it weren't for a late barrage of threes from the Rockets, this game would've been an absolute blowout. With the win, Denver improves to 10-15 overall and 5-7 at home where they had lost four straight before their last two wins.

In ATS trends, the Nuggets are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 road games, while the Wolves are 15-35-1 ATS in their last 51 home games and 0-5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.

Head to head, the Nuggets are 15-5-1 ATS in the last 21 meetings in Minnesota and the road team is 25-7-1 ATS in the last 33 meetings.
