Larry Shyatt battling viral illness

Wyoming instructor Shyatt to miss out on second game

Wyoming instructor Larry Shyatt will miss his 2nd straight game due to a viral health problem and won't be with the team at New Mexico on Wednesday night.

Shyatt claimed in a text Tuesday that he wants to be back quickly but needs to remove the virus.

Shyatt could not train the game versus Utah State last Saturday, a 74-57 victory in Laramie.

Aide teacher Scott Duncan stated he is hopeful Shyatt could return to the bench for Saturday's game at UNLV.

"He still has it but not nearly enough power," Duncan stated.

The Cowboys enter into the New Mexico game with a 14-7 document, 5-3 in the Hill West.
