Cincy's Cronin: Refs manage instructors differently

Cincinnati train Mick Cronin stated he views a double standard with the portal which trains are dealt with by authorities after referee Teddy Valentine entered his face, practically nose-to-nose, throughout the 2nd half of the Bearcats' 51-45 loss to Connecticut on Sunday.

"My beef with that said is individuals like Mick Cronin and Buzz Williams (of Marquette) of the world, we take care of some of it," Cronin shared after the game. "When nobody gets in the Jim Boeheim's face or Mike Krzyzewski's face.".

Valentine visited Cronin after calling an out-of-bounds play that Cronin challenged. Valentine then walked away as Cronin had to be restrained by his gamers and staff.

Valentine really did not release a technical nasty regardless of Cronin's behavior. Authorities have the jurisdiction on such scenarios.

Authorities Michael Stuart provided 2 technicals and ejected UConn train Kevin Ollie for beginning the court in a house loss to Louisville last month.

Cronin claimed he has no problem with Valentine and is glad he's functioning the American seminar after not being a routine in the Big East.
