Purdue loses guard with season-ending knee injury
Purdue guard Sterling Carter will miss the remainder of the period with a season-ending knee injury.
Coach Matt Painter issued a statement Monday sharing that Carter, a senior, had torn the ACL and median and side curve in his ideal knee during Sunday's 76-57 loss at Nebraska. The injury took place when Carter was making a drive to the container.

Carter was averaging 4.8 factors in 15.1 mins this season after transferring from Seattle College. He was third on the group in 3-pointers (28) and 2nd in takes (25). Carter's ideal game was available in an 82-64 beating of Indiana when he scored 19 factors and was 5 of 6 from 3-point array.
