As you might expect, there are some big swingers atop the Colorado order. Carlos Gonzalez holds a team-high 98 hits with 18 homers, 51 RBI and 54 runs. Nolan Arenado isn’t far behind with 89 hits, a team-high 21 homers, 65 RBI and 57 runs of his own. Trevor Story has faded a bit after his hot start but still holds 78 hits with 47 runs, 19 homers and 50 RBI for a .267 BA this year.

With Clayton Kershaw on the DL (lower back), the Dodgers made a trade for the Braves’ Budd Norris, who is in line to make his team debut on Friday in Kershaw’s spot. Norris has been pretty solid this year, and through his 22 appearances (10 starts) and 3-7 record, he owns a 4.22 ERA with a 1.36 WHIP in 70.1 total innings of work.

L.A. has several notable batters in their order as well. Cory Seager has hit 93 times with 17 homers, 40 RBI and 53 runs. Seager blasted a homer on Thursday. Adrian Gonzalez is sitting on 76 hits with 27 runs and 35 RBI. Chase Utley is contributing with 67 hits, 39 runs and 25 RBI thus far.

The Rockies are 0-4 in their last four Friday games, and 5-2 in their last seven games following an off day. Colorado is also 19-9 in De La Rosa’s last 28 Friday starts, and 3-7 in De La Rosa’s last 10 starts in game one of a series.
Meanwhile, the Dodgers are 19-7 in their last 26 home games and 4-1 in their last five home games following a road trip of seven or more days. L.A. is also 61-26 in their last 87 home games against a team with a losing road record, and 6-2 in their last eight games versus a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30.
