The Bulls (25-11) are looking to prevent a possible two game losing streak when they clash with the Wizards on Friday night.

Though the Wizards (24-11) beat the Bulls in a five-game playoff series last season, Chicago won this season’s first meeting, 99-91, on Dec. 23 behind 25 points from Derrick Rose and 18 from Pau Gasol. In a preseason meeting between the two, a scuffle erupted.

“I think it’s just a big game for us,” point guard John Wall said. “It’s kind of a statement game when you play these kind of teams. … They came in and took one away from us, and we want to come back and not let them get an edge that they know they have the number against us and can beat us.”

Previously, the Wizards defeated the New York Knicks by a final score of 101-91 on Wednesday night; a game where Washington point guard John Wall had 18 points, 8 assists, and 3 steals which ignited his squad to the victory.

"It's a situation if you sleepwalk through it, you can look bad, and we sleptwalk after we got up 20," said Wizards head coach Randy Wittman to reporters.

"We just can't take things for granted."

The game will start at 8:00 pm ET
