The Los Angeles Lakers recently aren’t scoring, as they’re shooting just 42.3 percent from the field in their last five games. The Lakers have to score to keep up with their lack of defense, and they’ve lost eight of their last nine when scoring less than 100 points. Kobe Bryant and Ronnie Price are both questionable for this game with injuries.

The Phoenix Suns have won six of their last eight games and are starting to look like a true playoff team. On the season, the Suns are averaging 107 points on 46.6 percent shooting and are allowing 104.7 points on 45.4 percent shooting. Goran Dragic is averaging 16.9 points and 4.1 assists while Eric Bledsoe is averaging 16.4 points and 5.9 assists. Markieff Morris is grabbing 5.9 rebounds and Isaiah Thomas is dishing 3.7 assists. The Phoenix Suns are shooting 48.2 percent from the field in their last five games and have topped 100 points in 13 of their last 14 games. The Suns still need to improve on the defensive end, but as long as they continue to shoot the ball at a high percentage, they’re going to be tough to beat. The Suns have won 11 of their 24 games at home.

This will be the fourth and final meeting between the Suns and Lakers with Phoenix taking all three of the previous games. The first meeting, played in Phoenix, was a complete blowout, as Isaiah Thomas led the way with 23 points on 9 of 11 shooting.

The second meeting came down to the wire, as the Suns were able to put the Lakers away thanks to a three-point bucket by P.J. Tucker down the stretch. Despite Kobe Bryant scoring 39 points, the Suns beat the Lakers at the STAPLES Center, 112-106.

The third meeting, also played in L.A., was very similar to the second one. It, too, came down to wire with Markieff Morris hitting a huge shot late in the game this time around to give Phoenix the victory, 116-107.
