Talking about the Mavericks are 6-3 on the road this season, they are coming to this game with victories Friday in Toronto (106-102) and Saturday in Philadelphia (110-103). They are going to protect their home court.

"We knew we were playing a desperate team with a lot of pride," said Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle to reporters.

Nowitzki is expected to return to Dallas' lineup after getting Saturday off to rest, but Jameer Nelson and Raymond Felton (remain questionable. Devin Harris has started the last three games in their absence.
