NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers at Tennessee Titans

price per head onlineThe Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves coming of an embarrassing defeat at the hands of the NY Jets last Sunday. They enter Monday night needing a win against the lowly Tennessee Titans to stay alive for the division crown.

With the extra day of practice and preparation, not to mention extra time to chew on the disappointing loss, the Steelers should have all the motivation they need to come out strong against the 2-7 Titans, we hope. To ensure victory and get back on track there are a few things the Steelers will need to make sure they either do or take advantage of on Monday night against Tennessee.

This evening’s contest is the 73rd time the two teams have met during the regular season, and it marks the seventh time they have gotten together on Monday Night Football. The last time they met on MNF was Oct. 29, 2001 with Pittsburgh coming out on top 34-7.

The problem is, the black and gold have struggled against the poor teams this season; losing to both the Buccaneers and Jets. They cannot allow their struggles against the bad teams to continue another week.

Following the game against Tennessee the team gets their bye week and it’s surely a lot nicer to go into that week off coming out of a win vs. losing two straight.

Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has something to cross off his football bucket list tonight as he has never beaten AFC opponents, the Titans or the Oakland Raiders on the road.

Le’Veon Bell should be a factor in primetime as Tennessee has given up 136.6 rushing yards this season which is good for 29th in the National Football League.

Since becoming the Steelers’ defensive coordinator in 2004, Dick LeBeau’s crew is 18-2 against rookie quarterbacks. The last rookie the defense took care of was Blake Bortles of the Jaguars in Week 5 as they intercepted Bortles twice, and did not surrender a touchdown.
