NFL season – Pay per head agents

All eyes are set on the first week of NFL, well that is not necessarily true as some bettors are already looking at week 2. Here we share some interesting data of four games in particular that pay per head agents should be aware of.

Miami at New England

New England is always favored by too many points when they take on the Dolphins at home. Miami is going to be a much better team this season than many predict.

The offense should exploit some holes in New England’s defense. The Patriots’ offense will still score points. Also, this is an AFC East rivalry game.

Online bookies should expect plenty of money to come in on the Patriots. There could be a sharp or two who bets on Miami. Setting max betting limits will keep bookies out of trouble in this game.

New Orleans at New York Giants

The Giants are one of the favorites to win the NFC East. It’s beyond me why, but they are. From my perspective, the Giants’ run defense isn’t very good. New Orleans should exploit it with its bevy of running backs. Once the Giants bring up a safety, Drew Brees and the Saints’ passing game will go to town.

There’s no way that the Giants aren’t favored by a healthy margin over the rebuilding New Orleans Saints in this Week 2 matchup. Layoffing might be in order if too much money goes onto the Giants. My guess, though, is that your pro players will balance out some of the action by backing the Saints.

Seattle at Los Angeles

Seattle is the hottest team in the NFL right now. Going into Week 1, they are ranked first on more than a couple of sports media’s power rankings. The Seahawks have the right team to win the Super Bowl. But, here’s the thing: the Rams almost always beat Seattle straight-up at least once a season.

If this is the game that the Rams win over the Seahawks, online bookies could lose some dollars. The way to make it profitable is to make sure that max betting limits are placed on all moneyline wagers for either the Seahawks or the Rams.

Dallas at Washington

The NFL rivalry of all rivalries (okay, Bears vs Packers might be a more historical rivalry), takes place in Week 2. Dallas, with their rookie starting QB, should be at least a 3-point underdog to Washington.

It may matter. It may not. You never know what’s going to happen when the Cowboys battle Washington.

The money on both sides in this game should be about even for most bookies. What it means is that the juice is pure profit. Pay per head agents should utilize max betting wagers on the moneyline as well as layoffing if it comes to that.
