Bale having his last chance

It’s been four years since Gareth Bale landed in Madrid, being the highest transfer at the time, and Premier League’s revelation player, he came with the responsibility of being the new Real Madrid superstar when the time for Cristiano Ronaldo would’ve come. But it has been the complete opposite.

While Cristiano keeps winning personal awards and breaking records, and most importantly, still being the Madrid’s superstar; (in its last two La Liga games Real Madrid has two ties, on which Ronaldo has been absence due to his red card suspension), and Bale hasn’t appeared yet. In Real Madrid’s four official games of this course, the Wales striker has only one goal, a weird one since it came after a bad shoot from Benzema.

Even Though he has won three Champions Leagues, one Liga, one Copa del Rey, two Club World Cups, two European Super Cups and one Spanish Super Cup, he has never been a truly important key for Madrid’s success. Another important player that has been asking for more minutes and importance, is Asencio, who is the team ‘pichichi’. This may be Bale’s final chance to show up what he truly worths before another uprising ‘crack’ takes his place and Florentino finally decides to start listening offers for him.
