The Brooklyn Nets traveled to Indiana to face the slumping Pacers. Brooklyn extended Indy's losing streak to five games with an impressive 123-111 victory on Saturday. The Nets are only one half game behind the eighth seed, but still have three teams to leapfrog

Brooklyn had been left for dead in the playoff hunt after a five-game skid dropped it 3 1/2 games out of eighth place in the weak East on March 11. The Nets, however, have since won four of five to revive their hopes.

Following Saturday's 123-111 win at Indiana, the Nets (25-38) moved a bit closer Sunday when Boston suffered a 105-97 overtime loss to visiting Detroit. They now have a chance to draw even with eighth-place Charlotte with a win and if Indiana loses at home against Houston and the Hornets fall in Chicago on Monday.

Boston is expected to be without one of its top offensive weapons with guard Isaiah Thomas (back) likely to miss his eighth straight game, and big man Jared Sullinger (foot) already is lost for the season. Thomas averaged 16.3 points in his first five games after being acquired from Phoenix, and the Celtics have missed his spark coming off the bench, as they shot a paltry 36.2 percent against Detroit, including 8-of-27 from 3-point range. Jae Crowder has picked up some of the slack, scoring in double figures in a career-high five straight games, including 19 points against the Pistons.
