Monday night it starts for real when the Eagles begin the 2015 season against the Atlanta Falcons, visiting the Georgia Dome to play the Atlanta Falcons in week one of the National Football League.

The match is on September 14, 2015 at 7:10 PM ET.

Already with most of the teams having completed their games, there is much pressure on the remaining squads yet to kick off to deliver if they want to begin their season in the right direction.

Between the Eagles and the Falcons, it is arguable that there is higher expectation for the Philadelphia squad.

For the Eagles it will be the debut of quarterback Sam Bradford, who hasn't played a regular season game since the middle of the 2013 season; running back DeMarco Murray and eight other starters.

In their four matches before their clash against the Falcons, the Eagles beat teams like the Indianapolis Colts, the Baltimore Ravens and the Green Bay Packers. Their lone loss was to the New York Jets. Considering those three wins are against very strong teams, then there should be a sense of optimism for Philadelphia.

Sam Bradford and DeMarco Murray are the big-named additions to the squad and expect them to make an immediate impact in the squad. If they fail to make a contribution against the Falcons, then it could be a long night for the visiting team.

As for the Falcons, they still have things to fix in the offensive line as well as their defences. They are sometimes slow to get off and have failed to find any stability.

They beat the Tennessee Titans in their first pre-season game, but dropped results against the Jets and the Miami Dolphins.

Atlanta bounced back in the final match against the Ravens and they should try to use that to their advantage.

For the Falcons, the key aspect in their game that could beat the Eagles is in their passing attack.
