The Philadelphia Eagles kicked off their 2015 preseason schedule with a win on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles defeated the Indianapolis Colts by a final score of 36-10.
After a two-year absence from the NFL, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tim Tebow returned to action in the team’s preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts. And in what likely amounts to his final chance to make it in the league, Tebow showcased some of the traits that made him a 2010 first-round draft pick but also plenty of the bad habits that have undermined his career.

After entering in the third quarter, he finished the game 6-for-12 for 69 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. He also ran four times for 15 yards and one touchdown.
The quarterbacks
Mark Sanchez: 2 for 7 (28.6%), 52 yards, 7.4 average, 1 TD, 0 INT, 97.6 Rating
Matt Barkley: 12 for 20 (60.0%), 192 yards, 9.6 average, 0 TD, 1 INT, 71.2 Rating
Tim Tebow: 6 for 12 (50.0%), 69 yards, 5.8 average, 0 TD, 0 INT, 66.7 Rating, 1 rushing TD
Sanchez did not look sharp. His accuracy was way off. He missed too many easy plays. Even his touchdown pass to Agholor was off target.
Barkley looked surprisingly solid. He hasn't really been that great in camp.
Tebow was rough. A lot of passes off target and he took too many sacks (3 for a loss of 28 yards). He looked exactly how you expect a guy who has been out of the league for two years would look.

The big plays
Nelson Agholor's touchdown, holy crap. The rookie looked so good. He kept making defenders miss on a regular basis.
